Water awareness week started in our school!!! During this week a lot of events related to water will be held at school.This is the program of the activities which will be implemented during the week. Later we will announce our impressions about it. We hope to have fun, enjoy it and learn more about the importance of water.
CONFERENCES
- The chemical and biological state of the estuary of Ferrol. The conference will be imparted by Joam Ferreira Caramés - the president of the Galician Society of Natural History and the biologist of the fishermen´s guild of Barallobre.
- Two ways to look at the water. The conference will be imparted by the photographers José Pardo (the photographer of the newspaper “Voz de Galicia”) and Rubén Pérez “Fris”.
- The importance of water in the origin of life. The conference will be imparted by José Miñones Trillo - the emeritus professor of the

- Posters related to water saving in daily activities.
- Water photo contest.
3. Work about the drainage by which sewage flows into the estuary of Ferrol.

ACTIVITIES IN THE CLASSROOM
- In the classes of Chemistry and Physics of 30 ESO. Analysis of the content of different soft drinks. The aim is to make students aware of the importance of using water as a drink instead of soft drinks.
- In English classes of 40 ESO. Power point presentations about the wetlands in
- In Mathematics of 10 ESO. The research of water consumption at home.
4. In Physical education of the 10 of “Bachillerato” and Science field of “Diversificacion”Curriculum” of 40 . The research of the amount of water drunk by pupils during all day and the importance of it for their health.
5. In English classes of 20 and 30 ESO. The study of the vocabulary related to water cycle.
